The Might of the Heavy Tank Destroyer The Elefant was a heavy armored gun/tank destroyer used by the Germans during World War II. The vehicle remains incredibly popular and recognizable among fans of history and military technology. This block model is designed on an impressive 1:28 scale using 1,252 elements, resulting in a solid 28.5cm long masterpiece.

History: From Ferdinand to Elefant

The first version of this German heavy tank destroyer was named Ferdinand, after its designer, Ferdinand Porsche. After the Battle of Kursk, the surviving 48 vehicles were modernized and renamed Elefant. Key improvements included a front machine gun, a commander’s cupola, and Zimmerit coating. Armed with the powerful 88mm PaK 43/2 L/71 anti-tank gun, it was capable of destroying almost any enemy vehicle on the battlefield.
